Self-compassion is the practice of treating yourself with the same care, understanding, and kindness that you would offer a friend. In therapy, it’s a skill that helps you manage stress, respond to setbacks with resilience, and create healthier relationships with yourself and others. My approach integrates self-compassion so that you can make lasting change without harsh self-criticism. But don’t worry - you won’t lose your edge. :) Self-compassion can be fierce!

Every person’s journey is unique. Some clients see meaningful progress in a few months, while others continue longer for deeper growth. We’ll set goals together and check in regularly to make sure your therapy is moving in a way that feels helpful and sustainable.
Coaching FAQ’s
-
Coaching is forward-focused—it helps you clarify goals, navigate transitions, and strengthen skills for personal growth. It is not mental health treatment, but rather a structured development process designed to support progress and accountability. If you are seeking treatment for anxiety, depression, trauma, or other psychological challenges, therapy would be the right choice. I can help you decide which path fits your needs and where to start.
-
Coaching is appropriate if you are psychologically stable, functioning in daily life, and seeking growth, clarity, or performance refinement rather than treatment for a mental health condition.
If we determine coaching is not the right fit, I will guide you toward appropriate resources!
